The activities of the EEM NL Hub are centred around the following three pillars:
Pillar 1: Development and maintenance of the Dutch Energy Efficient Mortgage Framework that:
- Actively supports the sustainability transition of the Dutch residential property market both in the short- and long-term.
- Is transparent, actionable, supported by data and provides demonstratable results.
- Enables originators, investors and other relevant stakeholders to comply with regulatory requirements, including the EU Taxonomy and becomes a market leading standard that creates maximum transparency and sets a benchmark for other jurisdictions and sectors and can serve as the basis for the next version of the EU Taxonomy
Pillar 2: Data & Disclosure
- Collect and make available to all stakeholders the required sustainability data (both property and environmental).
- At the same time meeting all regulatory requirements (e.g. GDPR).
Pillar 3: Representation & Alignment
- Represent all participating Dutch stakeholders in national and international consultative bodies.
- Provide all members and relevant stakeholders with information and coordinate responses to market consultations.
